Name

Nik Romano

Nik has been in and around racing from an early age when he began competing in Quarter Midgets. He has a wide range of experience from Midgets and Sprint Cars to Modifieds and Late Models on pavement and dirt, then to Formula Fords and Touring Cars. Most recently, Nik built a touring car from a Lexus IS300 and in 2018, drove it to three championships at NASA and USTCC.

Nik serves as our lead pro driver, and can manage everything from course design, safety implementation, and right seat script development to ensure the greatest impact for all participants. He has served as the lead driver on a wide array of programs for dealers, consumers, and corporate staff for Fortune 500 organizations.

Josh Allen

Josh Allan honed his driving skills in Italy as a Maserati Test Driver and is now a NASA National Champion driver. Josh had designed and developed corporate Ride & Drive experiences across the country for multiple manufacturers and written extensively for multiple industry publications. As a Mechanical Engineer from UCLA, Josh worked in major automotive cities from Detroit, Michigan to Modena, Italy.

A specialization in CAD (Computer Aided Design) led to a spot on Ferrari’s Formula 1 team where Josh supported Michael Schumacher’s winning streak from the 2001 to 2004 season in the aerodynamic, chassis structures and research and development design departments. Josh has amassed multiple regional championships, along with two West Coast Championships and a National Championship with NASA in the Performance Touring series.

John Lopes

CEO

John Lopes serves as CEO of LST Marketing while also leading business development and strategic planning. He has worked on various event promotions for Red Bull since 2012. He has created, promoted, and operated major urban events in the United States, Brazil, Spain, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, England, Barbados and Germany. He served as EVP of Operations and as the Franchise Owners Board Chairman of publicly traded Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART-IndyCar) from 2001-2005 where he led the technical, competition, and officiating side of that international sports sanctioning organization.

For ten years, John led the commercial business of professional auto racing’s Andretti Autosport as its Chief Marketing Officer. In 2011, he founded Andretti Sports Marketing, and in 2015 purchased that company, which gave birth to the LST Marketing companies. John has packaged and managed over $1 billion dollars of sponsorship deals and has been recognized by Social Media Marketing Magazine as one of the top 100 chief marketers on Twitter. He has represented clients in NASCAR, IndyCar, NCAA, soccer, NFL, MLB, pro beach volleyball, Youth Sports, PBR, eSports, and the NBA. T.J. Land

Vice President, Brand Experience

T.J. brings over a decade of brand and event marketing experience to his role leading all client account management for LST Marketing. His experience includes account management for multiple blue- chip brands at Andretti Sports Marketing in the IndyCar, IMSA, Formula E, and Rally Cross sponsorship programs. His experience includes experiential marketing leadership for clients such as VW, AutoNation, Advance Auto Parts, and Chrysler SRT in their Detroit headquarters. T.J. led marketing for the country’s largest youth sports facility in Grand Park, Westfield, Indiana for LST Marketing which included client work for the Big10, the Indianapolis Colts, and more. He has been part of management teams for large urban sporting events in markets such as Milwaukee, Baltimore, New Orleans, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, Las Vegas, and more. He has worked directly with IndyCar, IMSA, Global Rally Cross, Formula E, Barstool Sports, PBR, and the MLB’s Texas Rangers. His client experience includes eBay Motors, Red Bull, Dr. Pepper, Lockheed Martin, GoDaddy, Honda, DHL, Ford, Army Air Force Exchange Service, USAA, and American Harvest Pasta. T.J. is a graduate of Indiana University and the University of Southern Indiana’s MBA program.

Lindsey Hopper

Director of Brand Experience

Lindsey serves as Director of Brand Experience for LST and brings over 15 years of experience in sports and entertainment. She began her career with Legends Hospitality at the home of the Dallas Cowboys, where she helped establish and grow one of the largest and most profitable venue tour operations businesses in the industry. Building a prestigious program from the ground up, while overseeing a team of 100+, instilled a passion for creating a world class client and fan experience. In more recent years she took on an events marketing role for the World Champion Texas Rangers Baseball Club. Here she worked alongside industry giants like Live Nation, Big 12 and PRCA to promote and execute professional & amateur sporting events and concerts for some of the biggest names in the business, such as Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Morgan Wallen. She has overseen marketing and public relations efforts for Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium, and their affiliate properties, including stadium rebrands, experiential and digital marketing campaigns, management of social media accounts, development and management of property websites, and major event announcements. Lindsey studied Visual Communication at the University of Texas at Arlington, and Studio Art and Art History at Marist College’s Lorenzo de Medici Institute in Venice, Italy.

Dan Gardner

Chief Creative Officer

Dan has directed PR/Marketing efforts for Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Isuzu, Kia, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Ford, GM, and others on the OEM side, and multiple smaller aftermarket automotive companies as well. In addition, Dan has managed all marketing efforts for Kia’s factory-backed off-road racing team, Toyota’s factory-backed rally team, as well as his own professional road racing team. In fact, Dan is a three-time national champion road race driver, earning that highest of honors in 2006, 2008, and 2009. In 2010, Gardner’s team won the championship at the highest level of professional sedan racing, World Challenge Touring Car.
